We didn't have far to get there, but it seemed a world away once we arrived. Alaya Verde was the perfect place to celebrate 25 years of marriage with our equally tenacious friends. The rooms and outdoor areas are beautiful spaces that flow easily together and within the private, peaceful setting. Dinner in the Gazebo beside the pool, a relaxing spa in the outdoor bath, early walks in the magnificent forest, Duncan's fresh & tasty breakfasts and Gina's delightful service with a smile, made our stay perfectly delightful

We stayed only one night at Alaya Verde however we wished we stayed longer as soon as we arrived. The property is beautiful and the room was amazing. It's such a short drive to an amazing lookout and to the restaurants at Noosa. Duncan was an extremely accommodating host and amazing chef who clearly loves what he does. Would recommend it to anyone!

WOW, is just one of the words that I can use to describe Alaya Verde. Richard and I had our wedding there in August 2011. It was the most amazing venue we had the ceremony, reception and the photo's all at the house which was great because we didn't have to leave the property. Gina and Duncan are the most loving and welcoming people, they treated us like we were old friends. They where so helpful the whole time no matter what it was from speaking to caterers ( Spoonfed which where wonderful) letting people come days earlier to drop equipment off and answering my one hundred e mails that I sent them. I would recommend Alaya Verde to anyone especially for a wedding. For a get away it is the most relaxing and beautiful place, we loved all the wildlife from the duck's, wallabies, lizards to the native birds. Thank you so much Gina and Duncan you made our wedding day so special we can't thank you enough. Love Daniela and Richard

"Alaya Verde is incomparable to the countless other listings you're scrolling through on the web. My partner and I stayed here for three nights and had to tear ourselves away. It was romantic, peaceful, beautiful, inspiring and every whim was satisfied without even having to ask. Duncan and Gina have built a paradise just minutes from the surf of Noosa and to top it of the food they dish out is of the 'melt in your mouth and beg for more' quality. I cannot recommend it highly enough. It felt like paradise and home all at once. We will definitely be returning."

What a wonderful adult retreat! Nestled in the beautiful hills of the Noosa hinterland, we could not have hoped for a more idyllic setting for a much needed escape from city life.We could already feel a shift in our energy just driving to 'Alaya Verda' through the glorious forest approach. We were so warmly welcomed by our gracious hosts, Gina and Duncan, who ensured that our entire stay was decadently comfortable. The accomodation was superb - tasteful, pristine and uplifting. We have been spoilt for life by Duncan's sumptous breakfast banquets that sustained us throughout the day - the presentation and quality of the produce makes breakfast a dreary affair at home. Nevertheless I have a renewed inspiration to try to revive weekend breakfasts - thanks Duncan! Congratulations to our wonderful hosts whose passion and love for running a superior B&B shines through in every detail!Recommended, 5 out of 5

If you want to get away from it all, then this is the place to do it in style! The house is stylish and fresh, the pool inviting and the food just beautiful. The bushland setting is just perfect for a quiet retreat with a good book and the birdlife will keep you entertained....I would definitely recommend Alaya Verde

"My partner and I were looking for a romantic weekend away in the sunshine coast, somewhere away from the city noise but still close enough to the beach. This was perfect! Duncan and Gina were so welcoming and wonderful during our stay. The house was beautiful, our room amazing, and the only noise heard was leaves and birds - absolute bliss! I would definitely recommend this property to anyone and everyone, I am already planning a girls weekend away. "When I first chanced upon 'Alaya Verde' on the net I knew it was just what I had been looking for to celebrate my husband's 40th birthday. We hadn't had a night away from our children in almost four years and we dearly needed some time to recharge and reconnect. Travelling along a dirt road through old growth forest to reach Ringtail Creek, our sense of anticipation rose and as we meandered up the driveway and discovered our accommodation nestled in a rainforest clearing we were both speechless. Gina greeted us warmly at the door and as the rain drizzled frogs splashed happily amongst papyrus reeds in ponds along our path. Our room was dreamy and the outdoor bathroom was pure bliss. It was clearly obvious that meticulous consideration had been given to designing an environment which resonated with nature and the senses on every level. Duncan's wholesome breakfasts have to be seen to be believed and they sustained us both days through until dinner.Fred the magpie entertained us during breakfast with his charming displays of endearment as he successfully poached our glorious muesli and sourdough toast. We will carry the essence of Duncan and Gina's hospitality with us for a long time to come. Our room was immaculate and the setting in the Ringtail Creek State Forest both tranquil and beautiful, yet only a short drive into the picturesque township of Noosa. Our hosts, Gina and Duncan, were so warm and welcoming, as though we were visiting old friends rather than merely holidaying abroad. Our breakfasts were sumptuous to say the least, and the 3 course dinner was absolutely delicious! I cannot say a negative word about our experience at Alaya Verde.
